Extra special thanks for my friend Seth Piper for turning my Myspace into an actual site. He took the time to code it all out and make it look awesome. I plan to purchase the domain name tomorrow; and hopefully I will soon have a website. But, yeah, visit Seth’s page and get to know him… he’s pretty cool, and did the site design without me even asking him.
Today, I hit up CD Warehouse with a couple of friends and came out with some new music! Specifically, Mobius Band’s Heaven, and Sea Wolf’s Leaves In The River. I now love CD Warehouse.
I used to think I made "music".
When I was thirteen, I had a piano and a laptop and thought I could make music. I wrote a song, put it on Purevolume.com, and forgot about it. Apparently, a Christian indie music site picked it up since then. Beware: it’s the worst song you’ve ever heard.
INFLUENTIAL ALBUMS #1
I feel like starting some kind of series. So, being the musically-inclined person I am, I’ve decided to occasionally list off some albums that have a special place in my heart. We’re starting this off with Coldplay’s X & Y. In the winter of 2007, my hometown had a series of insane ice storms for a week straight. My friend came over and graced me with a copy of this album, and I instantly fell in love with the band. Even though Coldplay no longer ranks in my top favorite bands (actually, I’m hatin’ on their new material.), X & Y still makes me feel in much the same way as a cup of hot chocolate warms you up on a cold day.
In 2004, British actor Hugh Laurie, during the making of the movie Flight of the Phoenix, took time to audition for a television show idea called House. With production members of the Phoenix film, Laurie, believing that Gregory House would be a secondary character to the show, quickly worked up an audition tape. And TV history was born.
- Tracy: Orange-and-black decorations? Is Halloween, or Princeton Parents Weekend? I don't know whether to be scared, or proud of my cousin!
- Kenneth: It's Halloween, sir.
- Tracy: Proud it is!
